Following the success of the 7th IHC symposium in Poreč, Croatia, researchers, scientists and all interested stakeholders are invited to gather in this corner of the Mediterranean for an intensive week of exchanges, to discuss advances in quality, authenticity and regulatory standards for honey and other bee products. Field trips will be also organized to explore Crete’s scenic landscapes, local flora and regional beekeeping.

We are pleased to announce that the next conference of the International Honey Commission (IHC), the 8th International Symposium on Bee Products, will be held from 24 to 28 April 2028 in Chania, Greece. The event will also feature the Annual Meeting of IHC, along with workshops dedicated on IHC Working Group initiatives. The conference will be hosted at the Conference Centre of CIHEAM MAICh (Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania), situated in a picturesque setting near the city of Chania in the island of Crete.
